It’s an outdoors creative movement practice based on dance improvisation, and suitable to anyone with a desire to explore the movement of the body/mind in relationship with the natural environment (no dance training required). It’s about tuning into the present moment, opening up all of our senses and entering into a dialogue with Nature. Move with Nature brings together the benefits of physical exercise in the outdoors, creativity, spontaneity, and mindfulness/meditation. Through our moving and being we experience the immense power and the oneness of beings, it is about being danced by our environment.
“Our elders tell us stories […] to show us that if you don’t move with the land, the land will move you.”
Tyson Yunkaporta, Sand Talk (2020)
