BREATH AWARENESS

We breathe on average 12-18 times a minute, which is between 17,200 – 26,000 times a day. Breathing is a largely unconscious, automatic process, which doesn’t require any thought or effort on our part, but many people have fallen into bad habits with their breathing which affects their mental and physical health.

A bit about myself:

I work in the corporate world, however have had a wide interest in my own self improvement and wellness since 2000. I have been practicing Tai Chi & Qi Gong since 2000, and since 2012 have been a trustee at St Michaels which is a healing centre in Ewell. How I breathe has helped me to create inner peace and calm and changed the way I see the World around me, and I would like to share some of the realisations that I have had surrounding my breath and how I handle stress, with others.
